So there I was today on another computer and I thought I would have a quick look at my blog – and I discovered it looked terrible.
The posts were all out of kilter, widgets were at the bottom of the page, images and text had burst the side panels; it frankly looked like a dog’s dinner. So apologies if that was what you were seeing.
Turns out that I work with MozillaFfirefox on my home computer and the blog was looking just fine on that, but if you were using certain version of Internet Explorer it had gone tonto.
The answer was to change the theme of the blog. I’ve moved away from the standard Kubrick design on WordPress and went for Press Row, which is designed by some chap called Chris Pearson. I had actually been meaning to do this later in the year anyway for a number of reasons. My other blog The Daily Superman already uses it so it standardises the look of them; it means I can post bigger pictures; and I am a mild-mannered reporter so why not use Press Row?
I’ve actually scheduled all the posts on the blog up until the end of this year, as I have too much time on my hands because my girlfriend is living out the country just now. It means you won’t see the larger size of images until January 1, 2010, but I hope you like the new look.
Cheers.

Wow, your comment section is the abridged version for the visually impaired. It’s HUGE!
Other than that, I could always read you just fine. Still is fine. but this part is enormous. kind of funny.

Holy shit! You have all your posts scheduled till the end of the year! I can’t even get organised enough to schedule mine a DAY ahead. You are either brilliant or really, really sad…
Nice new look. I need to change my theme soon too. Hate that the sidebar doesn’t appear on individual posts on Kubrick.
