I was tremendously excited about Spawn when it first came out, especially when Alan Moore, Frank Miller, Neil Gaiman and Dave Sim chipped in. It dated pretty fast for me though. After two years I thought it was old hat. There’s still something terrific about Todd McFarlane‘s art though. This is from Spawn #1.
